Unbelievable

As much as the next fan I enjoy watching these epic stages in the Giro, but and there's a but sometimes they are a little unbelievable. Spain seems to have produced a bunch of riders that currently are smashing the Giro to bits, but happen to make it look like a regular Sunday Club run.

Euskaltel-Euskadi have won two stages back to back with riders who to me have popped out of nowhere.  hold my hand up as A. I am no expert and B. I don't really follow the exploits of Grand Tour riders that closely. Well I hope that this Giro doesn't finish under a cloud of questions, but with a rainbow of hope.

Monte Paschi Strade Bianche - Video Hi-Lights and photos

Watching the race it really clearly shows how hilly it is and it has far more in common with the Tour of Flanders than Paris Roubaix. Although the field wa lacking in some Teams this year the racing was full gas and it takes nothing from Gilberts wing today. The way he took the final kilometre was sublime, a real confident rider showing he has glass in suitcase loads.

Giro d'Italia Tappa 7, 2010

This Stage will be talked about for years to come.We have had some really truly epic racing this year, and this is probably the best of the lot. Every rider was a winner on that day, to finish was an achievement. I've found a load of videos of the day, sit back with a good glass of red and enjoy.
